Welcome and thank you for visiting the Website of the Neurosurgical Association of Malaysia.

This website has been primarily setup for members of the Association (NAM) but the casual visitor interested in the Neurosurgical scene in Malaysia is also very welcome.

NAM is the official and only body representing the Neurosurgeons who are practicising in Malaysia, be they citizens or otherwise.

NAM’s membership is drawn from members who have had Neurosurgical training both locally and internationally such as England, Australia, United States of America and Europe. As such we have developed over the years a local “flavour” of Neurosurgery unique to Malaysia. However as far as technology is concerned, we are not lagging behind with the best that the Neurosurgical community has to offer worldwide some of the best centres.

We have a members section where you need to be a member with a login account. In it will be discussed matters of special interest to NAM members, society matters and an exclusive eLibrary.

We also have a “public” section where there are articles of interest on Neurosurgical topics which might prove to be of interest to the general public, Malaysians in particular such as a list of NAM members with their email contacts and practise addresses. There is also a Q&A section where the public may ask for general advice on Neurosurgical Conditions and Treatments available locally.

There is also an events calendar which gives information not only of meetings to be held or held recently in Malaysia but also a selection of meetings of interest to Neurosurgeons to be held in elsewhere.
