The Department of Neurosurgery has been fortunate to be part of the above course which was normally conducted by the Orthopaedic Department of the Sarawak General Hospital. This was held from 15th-16th April 2009.

This course was mainly for the Neurosurgeons or trainees and 13 came for it. The first day involved the Neurosurgical side where Dr Donald Liew and I operated. This was followed by the second day on cases from the Orthopaedic side led by Dr Wong Chung Chek. The course ended with a great dinner at the Sarawak Club.

This course has achieved obviously the exposure to spine cases in our neurosurgical fraternity but it also indicates collaboration with others can benefit all of us.
